Started during the days when German U-Boat activity was suspected off of South Florida shores, Flotilla 59 celebrated 70 years of service to the Stuart and Treasure Coast area in April 2012. Flotilla 59’s membership remains strong with nearly 90 members providing services to the public including Waterway Patrols, Boating Safety Courses, Vessel Safety Checks, and Public Outreach Activities. Location & Directions

Port Salerno is accessible via the Florida Turnpike, i95 and US1. It is located along A1A between Stuart to the north and Hobe Sound to the south. It is part of Martin County, located north of Palm Beach County.

From I95:
Take I95 to the Stuart exit, take a right on Cove Road, a left on A1A and you will see Port Salerno Historic Waterfront District to the right.

From the FL Turnpike: Take the Stuart exit, travel to Stuart via Kanner Highway. Take a right on US1, a left on Salerno Rd and you will see the port Salerno Historic Waterfront District directly across A1A.
